The TOPS Program has two types of grants available through its Small Grants Program.

Micro Grant Award: Micro Grants (maximum per award $50,000) are intended to support capacity strengthening and skills development activities for implementers of food security and nutrition programs, as well as assessment and documentation of promising practices to contribute to gathering the evidence base for effective programming and future capacity strengthening.

Program Improvement Award (PIA): The PIA small grants program (maximum per award $100,000) offers the opportunity for Title II and food security/nutrition implementing organizations to access funds to conduct and/or document innovative, best practice-focused activities, operations or formative research, or pilot programs to strengthen the quality and efficient, effective delivery of Title II-supported food security programs.
