The TOPS Program has two types of grants available through its Small Grants Program. The first is the TOPS Micro Grant Program (maximum per award $50,000). Micro Grants are intended to support capacity strengthening and skills development activities for implementers of food security and nutrition programs, as well as assessment and documentation of promising practices to contribute to gathering the evidence base for effective programming and future capacity strengthening. For more information, please see the PDF titled "TOPS Micro Grant Program" below. Micro grants will be awarded on a rolling basis, and there is no deadline. Applicants may submit proposals at any time. Micro Grant emails can be sent to TOPS.microgrant@savechildren.org.
The second small grant program is the TOPS Small Grant Program Improvement Awards (PIA) Program (maximum per award $100,000). The PIA small grants program offers the opportunity for Title II and food security/nutrition implementing organizations to access funds to conduct and/or document innovative, best practice-focused activities, operations or formative research, or pilot programs to strengthen the quality and efficient, effective delivery of Title II-supported food security programs.
A new announcement requesting PIA applications will be issued soon.
Questions regarding the submission of the technical proposal and the application package should be sent to TOPS.smallgrant@savechildren.org.
