This tool, developed by Women's Refugee Commission, Child Protection in Crisis Task Force, Save the Children and the Cash Learning Project, seeks to make cash transfer programming more accountable to children, by giving guidance on how to prevent and respond to child protection incidents more effectively. It covers the full program cycle of preparation, planning, implementation, and monitoring. The tool covers all forms of cash transfer programming: conditional and unconditional cash grants, vouchers and cash-for-work, and while it applies specifically to emergency settings, it’s also applicable to non-emergency settings.

Where child protection specialists are available, this tool does not replace the need to seek their advice on context-specific issues that you may encounter.
