USAID hosted a workshop on "Enhancing Resilience in the Horn of Africa: An Evidence-based Summit on Strategies for Success" on December 13 and 14, 2011. The workshop, facilitated by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and TOPS, brought together more than 180 from the donor, implementer and academic communities to promote the sharing of lessons and research on building resilience to adverse shocks.
