QualME: Qualitative Toolkit Online Workshop
Join the QualME (Qualitative Monitoring & Evaluation) peer community for a hands-on workshop to learn about IDEAL’s new Qualitative Toolkit. This is a 2-hour interactive working session to learn how to use the Qualitative Inquiry Planning Sheet (QuIPS) to guide a systematic process to developing a robust qualitative inquiry. You will work in small groups with colleagues to review the toolkit step-by-step and design your own qualitative study.
This toolkit supports monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and program staff from USAID/BHA-funded activities to design and conduct rigorous qualitative inquiry to improve learning and activity implementation. It provides general guidance, steps to conduct qualitative inquiry, and practical tools for monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities. The toolkit also includes a companion workbook of activities and templates to help staff develop their own qualitative inquiries.
Join the quarterly QualME session to meet colleagues who work with qualitative approaches to M&E and share your experience. This event will include small group discussions and self-facilitated teamwork. So come prepared to work! After registration, you will receive an email with background materials to prepare for this session.
QualME, a peer community supported by IDEAL, is designed to advance M&E qualitative best practices and tools and to share resources among M&E and program staff.
