Horn of Africa Resilience Workshop Follow-Up Event
Join REAL and partners for a day-long event that will provide participants with an overview of resilience evidence emerging from the Horn of Africa and opportunities to discuss how the findings can be applied for programming. The event will mainly focus on evaluations from two key projects: the Partnership for Resilience and Economic Growth (PREG) in Kenya and the Pastoralist Areas Resilience Improvement and Market Expansion (PRIME) Project in Ethiopia. Resilience trends and themes emerging from across the Horn of Africa region will also be presented and discussed. For a list of the evidence and analysis briefs that summarize key findings, please visit www.fsnnetwork.org/REAL/HoA-Resilience.
This event is a follow-up to the larger workshop held in Uganda in May 2019, which gathered more than 100 resilience analysts, policymakers, and program staff representing USAID and implementing partners from the Horn of Africa region. This event will provide those who did not attend the Uganda workshop an opportunity to understand and discuss key evidence and findings along with implications for programming.
If you are not able to participate in-person, a number of sessions will be streamed online via Zoom.
