Interim Guidance for Applicants Engaging in COVID-19 Humanitarian Response
As part of USAID’s overall efforts to support the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) response, USAID’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (USAID/OFDA) and USAID’s Office of Food for Peace (USAID/FFP)—the future Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (USAID/BHA)—lead efforts to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the impacts of COVID-19 in existing complex emergency responses and address additional potential humanitarian consequences of the pandemic. This document provides interim guidance and basic recommended approaches for applicants requesting support for COVID-19 response activities. This guidance is intended to complement the USAID/OFDA Application Guidelines and USAID/FFP FY2020 International Emergency Food Assistance Annual Program Statement, which are in effect through September 30, 2020. Please use this document in conjunction with them.
