Open for Comment: Sustainability in Humanitarian Supply Chains: A Preliminary Scoping of Improvements in Packaging Waste Management
USAID is pleased to present the draft of the inter-institutional study: Sustainability in Humanitarian Supply Chains: A Preliminary Scoping of Improvements in Packaging Waste Management. While humanitarian assistance provides life-saving goods around the world, unmanaged packaging waste from these commodities pollutes the environment locally and in the oceans. The intent of this study is to scope the problem as broadly as possible and find out what partners are doing to mitigate the waste. This work is now open for public comment. Please limit your comments to missing or incorrect content, or your experiences with packaging and waste management broadly. Comments can be submitted through this form.
