Event Details
Thursday, July 26, 2018 - 9:00am to 11:00am
Save the Children, 899 N. Capitol Street NE, 9th Floor, Washington, DC 20002 and Online

The Commodity Quality Feedback Loop is a mechanism for Food for Peace (FFP)-awardee field offices to document and report potential issues with the quality of food aid commodities after receipt overseas. FFP uses these reports to identify potential problems and issues that may require future monitoring and/or a response. During this event, you will learn about the steps for reporting a commodity quality incident, which will help FFP provide assistance on appropriate follow-up measures to mitigate further deterioration of the commodity.

We encourage those responsible for managing or overseeing food commodities within their Development Food Security Activities (DFSAs) to join this event in-person or online. Such positions may include: Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party, Program Manager, Commodity Manager or Officer, Logistics Manager or Officer, Warehouse Manager or Officer, etc.

Greg Olson, Director, Program Operations Division, USAID's Office of Food for Peace
