Infant Feeding and HIV: A Guide for Training Community-Based Workers and Volunteers

This manual was prepared by the Infant and Young Child Nutrition Project (IYCN) for the community-level activities being implemented through the APHIA II Western project by the Society for Women and AIDS in Kenya (SWAK). Content for this manual is based on several key infant and young child feeding publications, including: WHO/UNICEF Infant Feeding Counselling: An Integrated Course; the Wellstart Community-based Breastfeeding Support: A Training Curriculum; and the LINKAGES Project’s Behavior Change Communication for Improved Infant Feeding – Training of Trainers for Negotiating Sustainable Behavior Change.
