United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework
This United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2021–2025) outlines the joint commitment of the Federal Government of Somalia and the United Nations to foster peace, stability, and prosperity aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals. It is designed for stakeholders involved in Somalia’s development, including governmental bodies, UN agencies, NGOs, and international donors. The framework serves as a comprehensive strategy to address Somalia’s chronic fragility and instability by integrating humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding efforts, thereby promoting resilience and sustainable development across the country. It provides a structured approach to aligning and coordinating international support with Somalia’s national priorities, enhancing accountability and fostering mutual respect among partners.
