USAID Technical Brief: WASH and its Links to Nutrition

The objective of this document is to summarize the state of the evidence and provide guidance about approaches to WASH that are likely to have greater impact on nutrition outcomes. This is motivated by new findings based on large and rigorous control trials published since guidance was last issued. This document does not seek to summarize the findings of these trials. This technical brief builds on this informatoin and will provide an overview of the links between WASH and nutrition and discuss USAID recommendations for WASH programming.
