VSLA in Emergencies (VSLAiE)
About
This activity aims to consolidate the internal and external learnings from implementing Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) in fragile settings before developing a robust VSLA in Emergencies (VSLAiE) model. Savings associations are self-managed groups of 15 to 25 people who meet regularly to save their money in a safe space, access small loans, and obtain emergency insurance. VSLAs are committed to filling the knowledge gap and building tools and approaches that extend financial inclusion support to those in the most difficult circumstances.
