Webinar on Community-led Video for Improved Agriculture and Nutrition - December 17th

Posted by jnicholson77 on 6 Dec 2013

Dear NALAN Colleagues:

In learning more about agriculture and nutrition linkages over the past year, a common refrain I've heard is the need for better examples of integrating behavior change into agriculture programs to improve nutrition outcomes. To that end, the USAID-funded SPRING project is hosting a webinar featuring Digital Green, a dynamic NGO that is pioneering the use of low-cost community-led video to improve agriculture and nutrition in South Asia and Africa. We hope you will consider joining us for the presnetation and discussion following the event on December 17th.

For more information, visit the SPRING website.

Thank You,

John

Agriculture Nutrition Links

The upcoming event sounds most useful as the conversation about agriculture and nutrition links continues. A key element mention is “the need for better examples of integrating behavior change into agriculture programs to improve nutrition outcomes.”  Tittle II Food for Peace projects usually promote improvements in both agriculture and nutrition and according to the FAFSA-2  Report several have done notably well at integration. So is the question for the FSN community that we need "better" examples of integration or that existing examples are not thoroughly communicated?
