Early Warning and Response in Title II Development Food Assistance Programs: Promising Practices and Lessons Learned from the Haiti Title II Multi-Year Activity Programs Pilot (2010–2013)

This document provides an overview of FANTA's efforts to assist Title II development food assistance programs in Haiti in the construction of components of program-level early warning and response systems from 2010-2013, and synthesizes findings on the strengths, challenges, and potential future direction of implementation of the established systems in Haiti, as well as the implications of this work for similar systems in other Title II development programs. Lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations for programs that have or are considering an early warning and response element are provided.
