Are you interested in learning about tools for gender equality and social inclusion for WASH? Join us on May 18th to explore how you can use qualitative methods to support your WASH project!

qualKit is a curated set of qualitative monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) tools designed for WASH and gender equality and social inclusion programs. Developed by ISF and Water for Women, the qualKit, encourages partners to try new tools such as Photovoice, Learning Diaries, Life histories, and apply them to gender equality and social inclusion in WASH.

During this event, implementers will discuss gender and social inclusion within WASH, considerations around participant selection, and “do no harm” approaches. They will learn about qualitative methods beyond focus groups and have an opportunity to try out a new qualitative method, selecting from either Photovoice or QSort. By the end of the event, participants will have the opportunity to apply these tools to strengthen their WASH programming. Those working for Resilience Food Security Activities will also be given the opportunity to get free one-on-one coaching to apply the tools in their own project.

This event will be conducted in English with French interpretation.

qualKit was developed under Water for Women and funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
