About the Event

With the COVID-19 pandemic requiring everyone to follow stay-at-home orders to curb transmission, organizations and teams have had to adapt to remote work and online collaboration. Suddenly, we’re in online meeting after online meeting. In this session, we will talk about the tools and tips that make online meetings effective, participatory, and even fun. Participants will explore the answers to these questions:

  • How do I translate important elements of in-person meetings to virtual spaces?
  • What online facilitation techniques can I use for various meeting objectives?
  • How can I create a high-energy atmosphere that inspires inclusive participation, although we’re all behind our screens?

Whether you’re planning your next all-staff meeting or facilitating an after-action review meeting online, we hope you can take-away tools that you can easily apply to your work. Because this event will be experiential, it will be capped at 40 participants per session.

This event is part of IDEAL's Food Security COVID-19 Learning Series.
