The Global WASH Cluster (GWC), in collaboration with UNICEF Regional Office for  Eastern and Southern Africa, will deliver a 6-days residential Training of Trainers (ToT) on Market-Based Programming for WASH in Emergencies (MBPWiE) from the 10th to the 15th of November 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya. The purpose of this ToT is to build capacity to implement MBPWiE trainings, with the final aim of improving capacity of WASH & Cash practitioners and sector coordinators to use market-based approaches (including cash transfer) to achieve WASH outcomes. ToT participants will be evaluated and, in case of positive evaluation, will enter in the GWC certified trainers roster. This ToT is opened to: WASH and Cash senior practitioners (NGO or UN employees, consultants or governmental staff), with at least 5 years of experience in Cash or WASH.

The training will be conducted by a team of global and regional trainers with both Cash and WASH background. The training will be hosted by UNICEF in Nairobi, Kenya. Interested candidates should fill the online application form before the 30th of September 2019. For inquiries, please contact Pierre Fourcassie (UNICEF ESARO Regional Emergency Advisor, pfourcassie@unicef.org) or Jean-Christophe Barbiche (GWC Capacity Building Specialist,  jbarbiche@unicef.org).
