The Regreening Africa Project is pleased to invite you to listen in to the webinar in reference to the topic “Land Restoration in Africa: Practical Perspectives from the Regreening Africa Programme”, scheduled for 14th May at 1600–1730 EAT (0900–1030 EDT, 1300–1430 UTC).

The guest speaker, Dr. Susan Chomba, Regreening Africa Programme Manager, will share insights on the projects’ emerging lessons that can inform broader restoration policies and actions. The webinar will also create a deeply engaging dialogue on the role of land restoration in addressing food and nutritional insecurity, land degradation, improved natural resource governance and supporting the conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem services in Africa.

This virtual event is a part of a monthly series of webinars hosted by the Global Wildlife Program (GWP), a seven-year Global Environment Facility (GEF) funded program, developed as a response to the growing crisis of illicit wildlife trade. Please this flyer for more information.
