Baseline Study of the FIOVANA Resilience Food Security Activity in Madagascar

This report captures baseline round data and observations collected from May to June 2021 of the FIOVANA Resilience Food Security Activity that is being implemented by the Adventist Development Relief Agency (ADRA) in eastern Madagascar. This activity attempts to address and mitigate acute levels of food insecurity experienced by communities in this region of Madagascar. Apart from general demographics, study indicators include food security; child nutrition and health; women’s maternal nutrition and reproductive health; water, sanitation, and hygiene practice; agricultural practice and production; poverty measurement; gender dynamics; and resilience. A complimentary endline survey is anticipated to be conducted from May to June of 2025.
