

This report reviews the social and behavior change (SBC) methods and approaches used in 11 programs carried out by the Office of Food for Peace. It includes a description of the fundamentals of SBC theory and practice, current consensus on SBC global best practices, SBC approaches used by current and recent development food security activities and how well they are aligned with best practices, strengths and weaknesses in implementation, and recommendations for the Office of Food for Peace to improve the impact of SBC in their work.
