This case study describes BHAKARI's use of the Integrated Community Assessment and Action Planning (ICAAP) method of monitoring. From the ICAAP process, BHAKARI was able to identify the most vulnerable communities and households for targeting and use a systematic approach to working with them. BHAKARI's use of ICAAP helped the team to avoid pitfalls of its predecessor projects in layering and integrating interventions across sectors.
