This guide is developed primarily for International Rescue Committee’s Economic and Social Empowerment program (EA$E) discussion group facilitators.

It is designed to:

  • Provide a conceptual background about the Discussion Group Series (DGs) and the theory of change upon which it is based.
  • Provide users with useful facilitation tips.
  • Ensure that facilitators understand the content of the Discussion Group Series.
