The Integrated Research on Acute Malnutrition (IRAM) is a partnership between the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). This study was conducted in four countries, including Chad and Mali. Its objective in these two countries was to assess a package of interventions aiming at strengthening the continuum of care of wasting from prevention, screening, and referral, to treatment and the post-treatment prevention of relapse.

This study was made possible by a grant from the Implementer-Led Design, Evidence, Analysis and Learning (IDEAL) Activity. The IDEAL Small Grants Program is made possible by the generous support and contribution of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
