Last year, GAYA surveyed over 600 implementers to better understand the barriers that exist around gender and youth integration in development and emergency programs. Based on this formative research, GAYA identified action-oriented recommendations implementers can take to strengthen their programming. In addition to the full Formative Research Report, prepared by Sayara International, GAYA prepared this Evidence-Based Guide to Action, which details our top three recommendations for implementers from this formative research. In this brief, for each recommendation, GAYA provides insights through survey data, actions to integrate these recommendations, and resources to support the implementation of these actions.
